20 Worst Movie Endings of All Time

From The Times Online comes a list of the 20 worst movie endings of all time... There are a few that I have issues with.... see my comments in RED

Read the full article here (warning... this article contains spoilers)

Here is the full list:

20 - Velvet Goldmine
19 - Cast Away
18 - Planet of the Apes (2001)
17 - Star Wars: Return of the Jedi - everyone always has such a problem with dancing muppets
16 - Monty Python and the Holy Grail - I've always had issue with the "arresting" ending
15 - Blade Runner (original release) - no arguement here... the original ending was cheesy and frankly really dumb
14 - Magnolia
13 - There Will Be Blood
12 - Psycho (1960) - Are you kidding... the last scene is brilliant!
11 - Apocalypse Now - I can't understand this one...
10 - The Great Escape
9 - Saving Private Ryan - yeah... Spielberg got a little to sentimental at the end... still a great film
8 - The Great Dictator
7 - Brief Encounter
6 - Grease - this whole movie sucked
5- The Maltese Falcon - oh come on! The statue isn't the point of the film...
4 - 2001: A Space Odyssey - great movie... but, yes, there isn't enough pot in the world to make the ending of this one make sense
3 - The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King - great movie... too many endings
2 - Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - they should have just been aliens
1 - Citizen Kane - great movie... great enough that it often gets overlooked how lame "Rosebud" actually turns out to be
